Perry Lutheran Homes residents, staff, children and volunteers have found such great purpose and meaning when working together on mission projects.
Whether its making prayer crosses to send to people near and far, donating items for the local food pantry, rolling bandages for mission hospitals, assembling care kits, baking treats for shelter pets, or other various mission projects, it feels so amazing to step up and serve together! People come to Perry Lutheran Homes to live a life full of fun, fellowship, and meaning. No matter your age or ability, life is meant to be lived. Join us in one of our current mission projects that benefit those on a global scale!
We'd love your help assisting residents to make prayer crosses! More than 25,000 handcrafted prayer crosses have been made and distributed worldwide to bring Christian comfort to those facing disaster, hardship, aging or just the struggles of daily life.
These clay crosses bear the fingerprints of their maker and bring the love and comfort of Jesus when held in the palm of your hand. Our prayer crosses have been dispersed throughout the community of Perry and across the state of Iowa. They have also made their way to Texas, Florida, and other states that have experienced major natural disasters.
And for now, the farthest these prayer crosses have traveled would be to Jacmel, Haiti! Join our residents, tenants, and volunteers in this amazing mission project today!

Perry Lutheran Homes staff and resident deliver #PerryStrong prayer crosses to the schools and first responders in the wake of the Jan 2024 shooting.
