Four Hundred Older Adults Blessed with Personal Visits and Baskets of Love

Perry Lutheran Homes hosted nearly 150 volunteers to transform ordinary items into baskets full of love at the second, annual “Project Deliver the LOVE” event. Once baskets were complete, volunteers headed out to deliver smiles, warm greetings, and baskets full of love and encouragement to 400 older adults in Perry and northern Dallas County.

Visits Now Allowed at All Times for All Residents

Visitation regulations in skilled nursing communities have taken a big step in the less-restrictive direction as recently released by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services). This and other startling facts were eye-opening to one hundred guests at the third annual StepUp Celebrate dinner held at Country Lane Lodge in Adel on October 19. Perry Farmer Directs America’s Farmer Grow Communities Donation to Acorns & Oaks Intergenerational Christian Daycare

Local farmer, Brad Golightly, recently directed a $2,500 Bayer Fund America’s Farmers Grow Communities donation to Acorns & Oaks Intergenerational Christian Daycare.
