Visits Now Allowed at All Times for All Residents

It is with great happiness that we share this update with you today! Visitation regulations in skilled nursing communities have taken a big step in the less-restrictive direction as recently released by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services). The COVID-19 vaccines have decreased the number of cases of COVID-19 in skilled nursing communities throughout the country since the implementation nearly a year ago.

An Evening of Silver Linings, Awards and Dementia Simulation

Every three seconds, somewhere in the world, someone develops dementia. This and other startling facts were eye-opening to one hundred guests at the third annual StepUp Celebrate dinner held at Country Lane Lodge in Adel on October 19. Perry Farmer Directs America’s Farmer Grow Communities Donation to Acorns & Oaks Intergenerational Christian Daycare

Local farmer, Brad Golightly, recently directed a $2,500 Bayer Fund America’s Farmers Grow Communities donation to Acorns & Oaks Intergenerational Christian Daycare. Ten Thousand Raised, Fun, and 5K Run Mark 65 Years of Serving for Perry Lutheran Homes

The community of Perry, together with Perry Lutheran Homes, stepped up in a big way to support Perry’s elderly citizens. On Saturday, July 31, sponsors from Perry and surrounding towns as well as a runners, walkers and furry friends came together to raise nearly $10,000 for the third, annual Run Through Time 5K Fun Run. Proceeds from the run will be distributed to residents unable to afford the cost of needed services, and to help furnish safe and accessible outdoor gathering places for residents and their families.
