Celebrate 70 Years with Perry Lutheran Homes

For 70 years, Perry Lutheran Homes has been blessed to serve older adults, families, and the greater Perry community through a mission rooted in faith and carried forward in love.

On Thursday, July 30, we invite you to join us for a special day of community, reflection, and celebration at our Eden Acres Campus as we celebrate: 70 Years: Rooted in Faith, Forward in Love

Since 1956, generations of residents, families, staff, volunteers, congregations, donors, and community partners have helped shape the Perry Lutheran Homes story. Through decades of growth and change, our Christian mission has remained at the heart of who we are.

Today, that story continues across generations through Christ Lutheran Church and Acorns & Oaks Christian Academy, bringing worship, Christian education, and meaningful relationships between children and older adults into the daily life of our community.

4:30 PM

• Open House | Explore displays and information booths, connect with our community, and enter for door prizes.

5:00 PM

• Short Program | Join us for remarks from Rev. Max Phillips, Randy “Doc” McCaulley, and Dave Menz, along with special donor recognition as we reflect on 70 years of service and look toward the future.

5:30 PM

• Freewill Meal & Ice Cream | Enjoy a meal and ice cream with proceeds benefiting resident activities.
• Community Concert | Enjoy live music from the Perry Bible Church Praise Band.
• Kids Activities | Hosted by Acorns & Oaks Christian Academy.
