Christmas Tour of Homes a Joy-Filled & Festive Event

Thanks to each and every one of you for a joy-filled afternoon at the Spring Valley Christmas Tour of Homes and Wine Walk on Tuesday, December 10!

Thank you to our tenants — Doris McCorkle, Gloria Renshaw, Pam Maher and Nylene Hansen — for opening their beautifully decorated homes and welcoming visitors into their Christmas-themed apartments. Guests also enjoyed the festive charm of the new Spring Valley Sports Pub, the cozy Fireside Room, and the newly transformed respite apartment for short-stays with all-inclusive services, meals, and furnishings.

Guests enjoyed a wonderful selection of wines and a beautiful charcuterie spread featuring meats, cheeses, crackers, and more. Attendees were treated to festive live music by Randy “Doc” McCaulley and the uplifting sounds of favorite Christmas carols sung by the Christ Lutheran Church Choir. Local author, Anita Hinkeldey McVey, joined the event showcasing her recipe collection and devotion book bundles.

Spring Valley Campus was elegantly decorated with Christmas decor throughout, including 10 fully adorned Christmas trees, each showcasing different themed and colored decorations. One hundred nativity sets were on display each uniquely showcasing the story of Christ’s birth. Guests were encouraged to count the number of nativity sets they could find and enter-to-win one of three door prizes. Congratulations to our door prize winners for their very close guesses: Shelly Bice guessed 99, Missy Bice guessed 98, and Becky Delay guessed 93.
